Wimbledon Begins

There's a back and forth theme to today's outlook. As Wimbledon begins, the Full Moon serves up dramas in the court of relationships. Fortunately, in our personal lives, the cosmic influence won't lead to heated battles! Patient, practical approaches will strengthen bonds. Although the Moon's position in a Finger of Fate alignment creates moments of high tension, the pressures don't lead to fault-finding or identifying winners and losers. They're establishing the rules for enjoyable matches that will stand the test of time.

Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day! In Britain, we often talk about the 'special connection' between the UK and the USA. And, as the Capricorn Full Moon wanes, we can all use this powerful lunar event to celebrate and protect the boundaries that ensure partnerships remain strong. Although the process of creating important connections is complex, as long as both parties keep communicating, ways to work together can be found. If we focus on relationships today, there are exciting new ventures to discover.

As the tennis titans compete for another Wimbledon trophy, debates over the tennis G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) are inevitable. But comparisons can overburden us with pressure. The legacy of the Full Moon, which took place in the sign of the goat, helps us work out where inconsequential arguments are distracting us from reaching our potential. It's by keeping our eye on the prize, whilst remembering to enjoy the moment, that the kind of success that brings happiness can be found.

Its 75 years since the founding of the National Health Service in the UK. Before its conception the idea of being able to receive medical care, without having the money to pay for it, must have felt utterly fantastical. As the Finger of Fate, which points at the power planet Mars, reminds us, when inspiration is born from empathy, it produces powerful motivating ideas. It's a good day to fight for what you believe in. Passionate persuasion can be a catalyst for effective action.

Sliced Bread

More Sally Fisher Art here.

When something exciting arrives, we often describe it as 'the best thing since sliced bread'. Today in 1928, sliced bread was made commercially available for the first time. Which raises the question: what did we compare inventions to before that? This weekend, Saturn's influence suggests issues need to be digested. Yet, as Mercury makes problem-solving links with Uranus and Jupiter, no one needs to be a glutton for punishment. We just need to allow ideas some time to 'prove'.

Your Weekly Horoscope

As kids we learn to colour trees green (not pink) and we're taught to memorise sums and spellings. But it's often creative thinkers: people who are willing to defy logic and convention who make the most important breakthroughs. This week, as Mercury (intellect) moves into creative Leo strong imagination has a significant impact. The more enthusiastically we express ideas, the greater their effects. It's time to get the metaphorical paintbrushes out and create a brighter, more vibrant world.
