Inevitably this means that many of us can't be as generous as we'd like. But there's a difference between financial indulgence and benevolence of spirit. Many unhappy people have pots of gold and leaden hearts; and many folk who have little in their bank accounts appreciate and share the gifts life brings. There's a fabulous cartoon featuring Santa on a melted North Pole realising he should have put solar panels in the naughty kid's Christmas stocking instead of coal. It reminds me of yesterday's Venus/Pluto alignment, which suggests subterranean issues, like hidden wealth and Machiavellian power, will surface and cause frustrations. But with Mars and Pluto also strongly connected, any fires will be transformational. The Great Conjunction means justice can be delivered, and real reform can begin. Maybe, if we put him in charge of the vaccine, he could get round to everyone and inoculate all of us overnight! Of course, what we all want for Christmas this year is to be close to the people we love without having to worry. With Mars squaring Pluto, Christmas won't be problem free. Thinking outside the (present) box will come naturally; eggnog arguments and tinsel tensions will be more easily smoothed, and communication breakthroughs will result in shared understandings.
